Beale Wildlife Park

Amazing park, we spent six hours. Very nice, tidy and easy walk. You can find many things to do for every one. Even walking in gardens.

Love the place and have been a member for a couple ofnuears now, but the toilets are rough, often dirty or in need of a clean. They're regularly updated, swap or change things so I'm hoping the toilets will get better over time

We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Beale and are certain it won't be our last. There's a wonderful variety of animals; while the gardens were a bit early in the season, their potential was evident, making a return visit later in the year a must. Children will appreciate the ample play areas. Although there's only one cafe, it's quite spacious. Plenty of seating is available throughout the park. The only suggestion for improvement would be clearer signage within the park (or perhaps a map provided upon entry) to help locate specific animals more easily.

Beale wildlife park, a great place for people with young families or those that simply love animals. First visit today and really pleased decided to. Could see the gardens will look great in summer. Lovely set out for animals and although none of the large animals other zoos have, what they have you can see are well cared for. Only downside they need a bit more signage around the place but other than that I would highly recommend.

Early March. Lovely sunny day in a beautiful setting. The fountains mesmerised my 4 year old grandson. The Japanese gardens were gorgeous...with winter and spring bulbs as well as perennial flowers in bloom. Plenty to do. Good range of challenge across the play areas. Bouncy pillow to run off steam. Sand to explore. Wide variety of animals, birds and reptiles to visit...a real "a to z"... armadillos to zebras and plenty in between. Decent coffee in the cafe. Train was not running today due to maintenance but that's a fun ride that takes you quite a long way through the park and it's included in the ticket price. The annual pass is good value and gives you 10% off in the cafe and gift shop.

We have a year membership - worth every penny. My toddler daughter loves this place! Here is everything you need (animals, train, bouncy pillow, play park for little and big kids, splash park, little houses, small softplay, small restaurant).

It’s a great place but I give it one star as they stopped accepting cash payments for tickets so I will probably look to spend time somewhere else.

When I visited it was a rainy day and I didn't see many animals. The lynx talk experience was good.

went here with my partner for a day out and the staff seemed great and the animals seemed well treated with very nice informative talks q&as about them,, although the gift shop was absolutely ridiculously priced and we didn't get our free train ride as it was so busy

What a wonderful wildlife park! It is the only one in Berkshire and is actually bigger than it first appears. I can see why this is a great place to bring children as it has so many playgrounds and playing opportunities including a soft play room and outdoor splash pool. The animals look really well taken care of and they have lots of outdoor space. I loved that I got to see some really unique animals I had never seen before I other wildlife parks or zoos. The little train is very popular as well, so be prepared to queue.

We took our granddaughter aged 13 today having promised her an animal experience for her birthday. We've been a few times before and it never disappoints. However today was magical. We had booked the Meet the Oddballs experience and she'd chosen to meet the reindeer, the Genet and the Cuscus. Chloe the handler who conducted the visit was amazing. She was charming and knowledgeable and made the youngster feel at ease. She got to go into each enclosure, hand feed the beautiful reindeer, feed grubs to the stunningly beautiful little genet and fruit and veg to the Cuscus. We learned loads of fascinating things about the animals and would like to thank Chloe so much for making the whole experience so very special. Thank you to all the staff from the train driver who took our photos to the excellent cafe staff who were wonderful considering it was a busy sunny day in half term. We'll be back soon. Highly appreciated and recommended.

I’ve always wanted to visit this place, it’s been on my radar for a while, so I decided to take the boys during this half term. And my gosh, what a lovely experience I had! Such friendly staff, a special shout out to one of the female workers by the reindeers, she was so lovely! I’d definitely visit again, would recommend this to anyone who’s thinking of going as it didn’t disappoint!

Treated ourselves to the Meerkat and Carnivore experiences for Valentine's Day. Both keepers, Amy (Meerkats) and Matt (Carnivores), were really friendly, really knowledgeable and made sure we had a really great time getting up close (well, reasonably close to the carnivores haha). Will definitely do them and other experiences in the future. Also visited the rest of the park which although not large has plenty of other animals to see and is well worth a visit. We had lunch in the cafe which was reasonably priced, a good portion size and very tasty and the staff were really friendly. Overall we had a really good day and no doubt will be visiting again soon.
